The Grammys took place on Sunday.
Taylor Swift
YES
The first time Taylor has not worn a red lip on the red carpet in a long time!
As you have probably noticed, Taylor often wears gold dresses on the red carpet, and I like the soft silvery-gold hue of this one. Her fresh, dewy makeup is beautiful, and the curled ponytail is a nice change. ♥
Colbie Caillat
YES
What a gorgeous, elegant gown! I love the deep red color, and the wedding gown-esque train is beautiful. I would love to try her unique up do! ♥
Sarah Hyland
NO
While I like the colors and style of this dress, it seems a bit baggy and over-sized. Love the hair and makeup, though!
Ariana Grande
YES
I don't usually like dark florals, but I almost always love Ariana's style, and she looked so pretty! I love her signature hairstyle and her natural makeup look. ♥
Katy Perry
YES
I (thankfully) didn't actually watch the Grammys, and though I heard Katy's performance was quite disturbing, I think that this dress is so cool! If you can't tell, the skirt of her dress has musical notes on it! Obviously perfect for the Grammys :) And, I LOVE her big, braided bun and her pretty makeup. ♥
Miranda Lambert
YES
Could def be more modest, but again, I love the red color, and I have started to notice that these gorgeous, retro waves are gaining popularity on the red carpet. Her earrings are rather strange, but they barely make an impression on the rest of this beautiful look. ♥
Lorde (Ella O'Connor)
YES
Sorry, I couldn't really find a very good picture. Lorde has this very witchy/goth style that I don't really like, but this was definitely toning it down compared to her other red carpet looks! I also like how her hair is straitened. It's usually really curly. Lorde won the Song of the Year Award for her song "Royals", as well as the Best Pop Solo Performance Award.
Kacey Musgraves
NO
Yikes...way to frilly and fluffy for me! I don't like the fabric style or lack of color, but her hair is pretty. Kacey won the Best Country Album Award for her album "Same Trailer Different Park", and the Best Country Song Award for "Merry go 'Round".
Rita Ora
YES
I know this color definitely isn't for everyone, and it takes some getting used to, but (as blogger Marama from Hypable says) "it makes a fun statement, and is very Rita!" I personally love her hair, and her makeup is always flawless. ♥
Sara Bareilles
NO
Again, a bit too frilly for me. I do like the nice pop of color that Sara's clutch and heels provide, though.
Zendaya
YES
A very tasteful and edgy piece that I surprisingly like! Don't like the immodest shirt so much, but the skirt is gorgeous, and Zendaya really knows how to make a statement on the red carpet! ♥
Anna Kendrick
NO
I really don't like the textured top and plain, colorless skirt combination. I really like her hair and the top is cute, though immodest.
